In anticipation of our Experts Guide to Project Management Discussion Panel, we want to introduce the seasoned professionals that will be sharing their expertise. Our first panelist is Ron Singer, and he will be bringing his IT project experiences, highlighting various project communication examples and results realized from taking the “MacGyver” approach.
Ron is a Senior Project Management Professional (PMP) / Management Consultant with over 19 years of experience in the information technology (IT) industry facilitating the selection and implementation of a variety of IT solutions. Ron currently manages the Project Management Office for all eleven higher education institutions in Nova Scotia delivering multiple Microsoft cloud-based solutions.
Ron is well known and respected for his passion for project management and he often mentors several information technology professionals. Ron is currently the immediate Past President for PMINS and currently holds a senior volunteer role appointed by PMI as supporting 18 PMI chapters in the United States and Canada.
In addition to project management, Ron is adept at assessing the current state analysis focusing on People, Process, Organization, and Technology followed by the solution architecture and business requirements. Ron capitalizes on lessons learned to apply a best of breed methodology that aligns with the respective organizations.
Ron fosters a working environment that inspires a strong and energized team. Ron has a strong financial background and has applied proven change management methodologies that contribute to the project success. Ron specializes in managing a Project Management Office with multiple projects and technologies.
