Vice President of Membership - Mallory Basha

Mallory has equal interest in working in and learning about communications. She fell serendipitously into the field through a recommendation from a Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) alumnus and she has been loving her journey ever since.

Mallory has had a taste of many sectors, having experience in non-profit, agency, oil and gas, corporate, and political communications. Each role she has been able to deepen her learnings and broaden her horizons to the many facets found in each industry.

While working, Mallory has also been completing her Master of Arts in Communications through her alma mater, MSVU. Her thesis specializes in crisis communications, a topic of interest that continues to keep her curious about the evolution of the field. Mallory aspires to one day teach at MSVU and share her passions for the profession with future practitioners.
