Dan Oshodin, VP Communications

Dan has extensive experience in marketing and communications, which he gained working in senior roles in global advertising and media agencies with footprints across Africa. With an impressive capacity for turning data into insight for connecting brands and consumers in an increasingly digital world, he has managed communication for brands in diverse sectors, including financial services, education, energy, food, beverage, and other fast-moving consumer goods.

 

Part of the 2019-2020 cohort of the Master of Technology Entrepreneurship & Innovation (MTEI) program of the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University, Dan studied Communication & Media at the University of Ottawa. He currently manages marketing and business development at Lobster Made Easy Inc, a technology-driven start-up with a mission to revolutionize the consumer packaged seafood industry.

 

With keen interest in innovation marketing, Dan is passionate about supporting start-ups to  implement customer discovery and go-to-market strategy. He is excited to join the board of IABC Maritime Canada this year to contribute meaningfully to the community while building a stronger industry network.
